IP-Docs is an AutoCAD add-on. We are also developing a version to work with Google, Adobe and Microsoft applications. IP-Docs consists of a set of new commands that are integrated into AutoCAD and are easily ported to other applications. Software: IP-Docs is designed to work with 2D drawings and 3D solid models, AutoCAD releases 2007, 2006, 2005, 2004 and 2002, Windows 98 - 2000, XP and Adobe Acrobat, MS Word 97-2000, XP (as MS Word is also required for patent text documents). Other CAD software versions are in discussion, and a version compatible with Word Perfect will be made available A.S.A.P. The install software will additionally download and install (from the USPTO site) PASAT (an add-on to MS Word, for templates and .XML output) and ePAVE (USPTO connection software). Hardware: The IP-Docs software is less demanding than the creation of 3D models in AutoCAD; therefore, any workstation that is in active use to create 3D models should be 100% compatible with our current version of IP-Docs.
